Q6. Why are Rainforests inportant?

Why are Rainforests inportant?

Rainforests are important because the climate in a rainforest effects the whole world. Plants in the rainforest clean the air. Rainforests are also very inportant because they make rain (thats how they got their name.) in the rainforest water evoperates from the forest and back into the atmosphere. This causes clouds above the rainforest. The clouds release water back so it rains. This rain then evaperates into the atmosphere which then creates a cycle. As I said before rainforests affect the weather patterns in other parts of the world. Deforestation can also change the rainfall patterns elsewhere. Did you know that there are over 100 plants in the rainforest that have not been discovered yet. A scientests fact sheet says that there are many of these that can cure some serious deseases? Rainforests occupy around 7 percent of the worlds surface and are also home to about half the worlds plant and animal species. They have been home to many cultures for thousands of years.
